Site Song Fanlist Exit

Two dreams can turn into love

... there are also times when they can't

I first applied for the Scarlet fanlisting at Tafl in April 2005 when the previous fanlisting was removed. However, this first application came back as a rejection. I was disappointed but looked forward to see what the new owner had to offer for it. Unfortunately, whoever was picked never got around to building the fanlisting and the subject was removed from the network once again. Without any hesitation, I sent in a second application. I put much more effort into the application this time though I think it still turned out to be a silly ramble.

The approval was received on 15 September 2005. I was thoroughly surprised and delighted. I even kept checking my email over and over again just to make sure it was real. Even now, I occasionally go back to the email to squeal over it (yes, I know I'm pathetic). The next few days was spent completely engaged with Photoshop trying to come up with something decent. I went through 10 + layouts before I was satisfied (although now I look back at it, I'm not sure I did my best). Dreaming was launched promptly on 19 September 2005.

Dreaming has gone through quite a few hosts. I must give my gratitude here to Monica of karenai.net who housed the site for the longest and provided a great home before I moved it to my own domain.

I've always been fond of the layouts I make for Dreaming - I was actually sad to let go of the previous layout even though I liked this one better. I think it has to do with Yuu Watase's divine art which always inspires me so much.

In this version, I attempted to create clouds in Photoshop. I don't think what I managed to achieve could actually pass off as clouds (maybe without the yellow, it'd look more like the sky) but it was pretty enough for me to keep.
